Unicircuit, Inc. is a trusted source of supply in regards to mission critical programs that require a solid approach and execution to program management.
The key factors that we focus on when we engage in programs that have extremely rigid timelines due to a myriad of factors (i.e. launch dates, deployment of critical hardware to the warfighter, financial incentives / penalties, and first to market roll outs etc.) are as follows:
- Governance
- Standards
- Alignment of Resources
- Integration of Customers Reporting Mechanisms
- Assurance of Program Success
Governance = Program governace is the aspect of the discipline that creates both the structure and practices to guide the program and provide senior-level leadership, oversight and control. Strategically, it encompasses the relationship between the oversight effort and the enterprises's overall business direction. The aforementioned requires established and regulated program reviews that examine the program's activities to assess how well the program is tracking to the key indicators, which ensure that the goals and objectives are achievable, hence mitigating the opportunity for a "surprise."
Standards = The determination of goals and objectives that need to be accomplished in regards to achieving compliance to stated specifications, statement of work (SOW's), and the contractual flow down requirements.
Alignment of Resources = Definining and deploying the required resources at process engineering, product engineering, quality assurance engineering, and the technician level to allow for products to be produced to the associated timeline and quality standards.
Integration of Customer Reporting Mechanisms = The understanding of a given customers reporting mechanisms and or schemes, allowing for status, disruption identification, opportunity for schedule pull ins etc. to be flowed in a consistent manner, of which the customer has an intimate understanding, hence eliminating the possibility of ambiguity in interpretation and dissemination.
Assurance of Program Success = Results of milestones and key indicator outcomes are calibrated to ensure that the program is tracking to the committed completion date, and that the associated documentation and deliverables are in place to allow for final acceptance.
